    I hate to give a place a shitty review...but WHY does it not say anywhere that the Kitchen is only open certain days? I drove all the way here to find out the Kitchen is only open 2 days a week.

    Great food, excellent service, and awesome beer selection. It's been a while since I've visited the Hop Shop. I used to come here religiously back in high school after going to PowerHouse Gym down the street. I was so glad to see that the quality and service has remained top-notch. The double fried wings are among the best in the city. The BLT here is one of my favorites. Will definitely be here more often. It looks like the kitchen hours have changed since I last visited, but it makes sense given the current economy. Shout out to the guys behind the counter for making our experience even better. I'll be back to try the weekend special because it sounded delicious.

    The cheesesteak here is quite good - cheesy and meaty all mixed together. I got it with mushrooms and grilled onions. My complaint is that it is SO salty. Hours after I ate the foot long, I'm still chugging water!
